What this covers

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies HVAC HQ uses on its public marketing site, and what we deliberately do not use inside the signed-in workspace. It works alongside the Privacy Policy.

Essential cookies

When you sign in we use strictly necessary cookies so you stay signed in and so the session stays secure. The office app and the technician portal each have their own session cookie, and a person signing a document you sent them gets a short-lived one that proves they opened their own signing link. These are required for the product to function and cannot be switched off from the banner.

Analytics on the public site

On the public marketing pages (the site you are reading before signing in) we use a first-party analytics script operated by Zelus Labs, loaded from zeluslabs.dev. It measures anonymised page views, referrers and on-page interactions so we can tell which pages are useful.

The script measures nothing until you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Before that it runs in a mode that keeps no identifier, stores nothing about you and sends nothing: it only applies the page copy we publish for this site and shows our own sign-up forms, which remember at most that you have already seen them. It has no access to a shop's customers, jobs or call recordings. It is not used for third-party advertising or data resale.

A choice you make is stored in this browser. If you accept and later sign in, the same choice is what lets the signed-in app measure. If you never saw the banner, the signed-in app measures nothing.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising cookies or marketing pixels. There is no category for them in the banner because there is nothing to turn on. We do not sell or lease data gathered through cookies.

How you choose

The banner on the public site lets you accept all, decline the optional analytics, or choose. You can change a stored choice with the Cookie choices button, or with the button on this page. Blocking essential cookies in your browser may stop you staying signed in.

Declining after you already accepted reloads the page without measurement. Hits already sent this visit cannot be pulled back.
